A fun ride through a big tree forest. The trail starts with a bang with the intermediate section, approximately 2 miles. It then settles into a twisting ride through the woods with a 2.5-mile beginner section. The trail will keep you on your toes. It also crosses the park road in several places, so keep your eyes open as you cross the road.
Tips: Pay attention to the park closing time, you will get locked in the park if you stay past closing time. The trail crosses hiking trails in multiple locations; the mountain bike trail is single track, so if you are riding on a wide trail, you probably got on a hiking trail. Check out the Studebaker grove of trees on the east side of the park. The pine trees spell out “STUDEBAKER” and are the source of the pine trees found on the mountain bike trail. At trail crossings look for NIMBA signposts to indicate the direction of the biking trail versus the hiking trails.

Michiana resident Tyler, aka The Michiana Madman, created his YouTube channel to help answer any questions a beginner mountain biker may have when they first start mountain biking.
The focus of his channel is to showcase the MTB trails in the Midwest region but also other parts of the country as well. How-to and DIY tutorials are sometimes posted as well as Product Reviews.
We here at NIMBA are thankful for all the videos he has created showcasing our trails.
