Dr. TK Lawless Park Mountain Bike Trail

The Trail

PARK CLOSED FOR DEER HUNTING NOVEMBER 1 THRU JANUARY 1.

NIMBA’s first alternating direction trail depending on the day, TK is a fast-flowing trail with twisty single track, lots of short climbs, long straightaways, a couple of corkscrews, whoopties, and fast downhills. An intermediate trail due to length and hill climbs as opposed to technical features, you will find some rooty climbs that may challenge beginners.

Tips: Ride direction alternates depending on day. Alternate Direction Days Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. Watch out for the sand at the bottom of the two-track downhill. The first 6 miles have more hill climbs than the last 4 miles, so don’t give up after the first 6 miles. The last 4 miles have the natural whoopties and the corkscrews.

Michiana Madman rides TK LAWLESS

The Michiana Madman

Michiana resident Tyler, aka The Michiana Madman, created his YouTube channel to help answer any questions a beginner mountain biker may have when they first start mountain biking.

The focus of his channel is to showcase the MTB trails in the Midwest region but also other parts of the country as well. How-to and DIY tutorials are sometimes posted as well as Product Reviews.

We here at NIMBA are thankful for all the videos he has created showcasing our trails.
